Now the optional parts are becoming available I have a few questions.
Since the Engine mount is "must buy" item, according to other influential people on this forum, why was it not included in the kit?
What ratio of 808 sales to optional engine mounts have XRay allowed for in production?
If it's a high ratio, say in the 60%-80% range or higher then surely it should be a part of the kit to start with. Xray would have had tool up to produce the standard mount in which the costs could have been used to offset some of the cost difference in producing the optional engine mount.
The duplication does not make sense. Please explain the rationale behind this decision.
What is the ratio of 808 sales to the optional aluminum lower suspension holders? As noted above, what is the rationale behind not having this option as a standard kit part?
There has been a lot said about XRay plastics being more than sufficient so why make a aluminum suspension holders?
I would be very happy if Xray produces optional composite suspension holders using the same ideology as the kit but having multiple plastic holders with different angles so you can pull it out and replace to achieve different set ups.
In reality to change your setup with the aluminum suspension holders you still have to remove them from the car to make changes which would be no different to changing plastic suspension holders.
Please explain......
What do others think about having optional composite suspension holders, they will be cheap, lighter, and have been promised to be as sufficiently strong as the optional aluminum part?
What do others think about Xray providing a Pro version kit with key/core optional parts included which is sold at a higher price which should be significantly less than buying these optional parts separately on top the kit price due to non duplication and higher volume of production of these optional parts?
