XRAY - Model racing cars

I just broke in a GRP 21 last weekend and raced it...I added 1 thin copper shim, running Tilted Green 30%, OD97T plug, and Dynamite 53 pipe. So far, so good...I have no idea where my needles are, but they were too lean from the factory...I had to richen both HSN and LSN about 3 hours and then go from there. So far, I really like it. Break in was as easy as my old Ninja was (and far easier then my 21-5kt) - I got right at 9 minutes to tank at a track with a lot of WOT pulls..I am pretty sure I can get 10 minute pits once it is fully run in and I lean it down some more. Good engine for sure...it seems to have more top end then my old Ninja did and it is very smooth all the way around

Keith, I did what you said and confirmed it with a friend who bought the same motor.

The Hi speed is 2.5 turns out and the low speed is 6.0 turns out.

GTSUM, there is a super amount of compression so I will add the extra copper shim.

I bought a Hudy break in bench and ran the first tank through it. The tank took 45 mins!!!! What the? It will take days to run it in and I'll be deaf by the time I'm finished.

What procedure should I use running an engine in using the bench?

Heat cyle, Forced heat cycle (keeping the engin running and richening it to cool it or the Hudy way in the manual (varying revs for long periods and different mixtures to change temps and running it continuously)?

I thought keeping your engine at consistent revs while break in was not a good thing as it will wear in accordance with the force applied by the engine at a particular rev.

the new GRP pipe is the same like the old Ninja one. The engines also look like this.
The Motors had some problems with set-up like the old ninjas...

The pipe has to fit for the Motor, you cant take every pipe for every Motor same with manifolds, this can destroy the engine, if the set-up doesn't fit together...

The factory Settings were much too lean on the old ninjas. Mugen told that the HSN should be 6 Turns out (1mm more out than the "pipe" for the needle, don't know the word by now) and the low should be 6,5 Turn out.
