On the XT8 and EC there will no support if you cut the bridge out. If you did cut the bridge out the length to the outside joint is too long and it causes a larger rotation in a crash. Therefore, too much torque will be applied to it and it will break for sure.

However, it would work on the upper arms provided with the 3D ackerman plate.

Just ream the upper arm out with a drill and it also gives you more roll center adjustments with out causing binding.

Hmmm, you could fit the front upper arms off the 808.....
