XRAY - Model racing cars

Heres a couple pictures of my XT8 brushless conversion I just finished. Bought it used for very cheap and it was pretty beat. The guy I got it from obviuosly had no idea what he was doing. Every feakin bearing in the thing was shot and a few of them were completely seized up. I cant figure out how he even ran it. So I tore it down completely. Every screw was removed and every part completely cleaned. All worn parts were replaced. Luckelly alot of the parts I needed were the same as the XB8 so I had tons of spares from my TQ and EC buggy spares. Then I converted it to brushless using the RC-Monster.com conversion parts.

I ran it last weekend and it ran like a champ but I was having some problems with the back end kicking up pretty bad over jumps. I had the ride height set to low and it was slapping the back end on launch. I didnt have any shock clips with me so I delt with it and had to pick the right lines to avoid the kick up. I have it set up with the XT8 base setup now and I'll work from there to get it tuned. I already think I'm gonna have to go up in the center dif weight and down in the rear dif. Its unloading to the front wheels like crazy on hard acceleration. Can't wait to get it out to the track again this weekend.

I painted up a new lid for it last night (to match my brushless EC Buggy) and put on the new LPR Crimefighters and Kingsheads +5 hubs. Anyway heres some pics I just thought Id share.

that is really cool, there is a guy out here that runs one like that its really fast and a lot of fun to drive.
