808 - The perfectly designed buggy

I would like to thank X Ray for the effort they have gone to with the 808.

I just finished building it and the design is flawless. Every item that I made modifications to or bought spares for in the previous models have been revised.

The 808 must have been in design for much longer than we were lead to believe because it is truly perfect.

The hype is justified - the XB808 is unbelievable.

If it drives half as well as the design and build it will be very special indeed.

PS Today is ANZAC day in Australia. To today is our remembrance day of the diggers fallen in World War 1. Lest we forget those who died for the freedoms we are blessed with today.

This is the first buggy I'll be leaving completely stock.

I will only update the engine mount to swap engines quicker with out re meshing and may buy toe plates to change rear toe/kick up.

X Ray - Since the plastic ones are so good please make adjustable plastic plates or package of different angled ones. Thank you.

One of the best things about the 808 is that high proportion is interchangeable. Arms, rear uprights, diffs including outdrives, diff bulk heads, front and rear CVD's etc. You do not need to carry many spares anyway.

You are correct about the mesh, but what if you have two engines that are different types? The one on the EC and XT8 are good.

They could make an engine mount with the front tab by having the tab continue up to the tank mounting post hole and them providing a shorter tank mounting post with the engine mount....

Hey whitey forget about a new gun, cut laps with your a new buggy. You will reduce lap times. If you could pay for a higher skill level for being a driver, what would you pay?

The 808 a cheap way to become a better driver in my opinion.
