Smokey - Peter has the answer here - it seems that this is quite a common problem. Heck the setup guide has instructions on what to do when this happens.

It has happened to me a few times - and it is a royal pain to sort out.

I have swapped to the spring steel ones and have not had a problem since.

When turning very tightly tonight (you have to - track 3 feet wide in places!) I noticed the inside front wheel would wobble on full lock, it seems that the slot in the hub/axle was catching the driveshaft, funny thing is, it's never done it before. The axles have quite a burr on them. can the axle be "countersunk" any more to stop the interference?

Don't know if you can get single bearings from Xray, but Schumacher do the same bearings in packs of 2...I think they are the MI2 gearbox bearings

HPI RS4 Pro's also use the same size bearings for thier diffs. U kin still run the bearings that U have, just make sure the exposed side faces in away from exposure to dirt and dust. I did this to free up the drive train.

i agree with petter i run the spring steel ones as well, oh and here is one for you guys i broke the lip where the steel ring holds the axel on, all the way around the wheel adapter.
