Hi all
I have built my 008 to kit std set up but the front camber links/hex head foul the majority of wheel rims I use with the 1mm shim fitted ,the only solutions I can think of are.
Dremel the inside of the wheel " impractical and a pain in the butt"
Remove the shim, but I would prefer to run the car as std set up for the first run.
Fit larger wheel hex or spacer and reduce track inboard to compensate but will this cause the drive shaft to foul or have odd wear problems in the drive cups? or effect the handling? "wider track =understeer?"
Please excuse my ignorance as I am new to Xray and prehaps a bit paranoid about the lower arm position,Xray fit them that way for a reason?and i want to avoid any understeer/turn in problems like the plauge as I suffered this with my previous make.....I have checked the forum as far as i can " lots of pages" but have found no referance to this minor problem ..... Cheers Les
