So to upgrade my shocks on my EC to the hong nor ones all i need to do is dremel the lower arms abit???

They look fab, do they make a massive difference??

I ran mine on the weekend. I changed the shock oil to 40 wt losi front and 35 wt losi rear using the 1.3mm hole pistons. It was 41 degree celcius and following Chad Reads comments on outside air temp affecting these shocks I raised it 5 wt all round.

My truck ran awesome - 95% DIALED.

I'm not sure if all the credit was due to the shocks because there were so many changes made. Check out thread "I'm Lovin it " for set up.

I will still be chasing more pack though as it bottomed out on the small height tripple and if I was short the nose would catch the carpet layer. (We place old carpet on our jumps so they don't blow out as quick.)

My shocks were layed down to the maximum which may have reduced pack but I liked the progressive action as the track can get super rough.

I will be trying 1.25mm holes with 35 front and 30 rear. Has any body tried this?

I will also try the silver springs as the fronts are firmer which should reduce the amount of front compression of the jump face allowing the car to fly more level or nose down slightly. I'm hoping the rear will kick up more being softer. Any how I'll post the results.

Has anybody ran silvers in the truggy. What were your thoughts?

I still plan to run my EC into the ground and get more practice before getting the new 808 so these Jammin shocks will for sure be a great upgrade for the time being.

When we get the new 808 we can retire the jammins to a second back up buggy and go with the all new Xray parts but for now and the time passed these Jammins are what was missing on the EC.

For those here in the states that ordered from Special RC , how long did it take to get the shocks ? starting on week three , the waiting is killing me as I can`t run at all till they are on my truck.

was that the Ebay guy selling them?

If so I think they are right Japan so that takes quite a while.

the items come from taiwan. I ordered a mag v-spec head from them and it took three weeks to get to me in hawaii..so you converted that thaxt...is that the same one?
