I run Odonnel 30 % in my OS & find it a very good fuel. It does seem to leave an oil type deposit but as posted earlier all fuels will corrode the bearings over time if you do not use after run.
Myself if the engine is to be used the following weekend then i generally do nothing, if its left longer for more than a week then it gets well oiled.

To oil what i do is remove air filter & close up carb, I fill the insert area fully with oil & allow to drop into engine. I do this twice & then just turn engine over by mand to make sure bearings & well soaked.
Some people say just put a few drops through engine plug but i feel this does not do the job .

Every one has there own method but for me this has worked well & proven reliable.

It's true with any filled crank. You should use mineral oil.

would parifin oil be ok ?

has any one use hobicco after run oil that the guys use for there air plane and helicopter engines
