The truck handles better with these shocks.

Smoother jumps and landings
Better cornering under power
Better through rough sections

I know it is hard to beleive the truck can be better than it already is but it is true.

I beleive Xray should come out with a BIG BORE option kit. Xray could use the shock design from the XB808. If they are smaller than 16mm please redesign a new set.

I have not been a fan of the stock shocks since the beginning. The shocks have leaked and the pistons have cracked, the washer underneath have cracked and fallen off causing the inside of the shock to be stratched. All of this has been well documented in this forum. Dont get me wrong even with these faults the truck is still the best handling and the most realiable. I have had Zero failures on the track.

Here are the part numbers

OFNA Shock Big Bore Front 16mm pair 41001
OFNA Shock Big Bore Rear 16mm pair 41002
Ofna 16mm Shock Spring Medium Silver (4) 41016 All four springs

Use the long ball cup ends at the bottom of the shocks

40Wt Front
35wt Rear

All you have to do is build the shocks and mount, no modifications needed.

I am not sure why you have posted this? Is it to discredit my statement. If you look at previous threads there has been alot of discussion regarding the shocks. I am the first to defend the quality of Xray, but I am simply sharing my real experiences that I have had with the shocks. Also I am someone that maintains my equipment very well and understands a portion of the engineering that goes into them. The purpose of this forum is for sharing experiences. I am glad that you have posted your evidence. The great thing is that you can definately tell that in the big picture of things, The Xray engineers do see the issues we are having and they address them. The art of luxury in the works.

You guys must be doing something wrong with the stock shocks. I have close to 4 gallons on mine and haven't changed seals or anything. And I've never had a single problem.
