XRAY - Model racing cars

I never knew the works is a Fioroni. I was referring to the new one below;

This looks different to the werks clutches - I think?

I was concerned going to an aftermarket clutch that the diameter is 35mm while the standard X Ray fly wheel is 33m. Therefore, the aftermarket will protrude through the chassis and extra 1 mm which may lead to flame outs on heavy landings.

Speed, tell me what you think of this clutch.

speed - are you talking about the Compak Clutch System from Ultimate? Just want to make sure I'm looking at the right one.

I have used the werks clutch for three years (now being used by sons) I have also used the fioroni turbo slider. I have seen the werks shoes overheat and become "pitted" and I have broken springs on the slider. Both systems are generally very good, shoes are long lasting, but don't seem to have the snap out of the corners, especially on a high traction surface.

Now I am trying the m2c four shoe system so far so good. Very tunable. I was shown a set of shoes that lasted 6 months, still in good shape. I have two of these set ups , time will tell.
