XRAY - Model racing cars

A couple of years ago Xray asked us what car they should develop next. Many of us "saw the future" and said Xray should produce a 1/12th pan car...imagine the eccentric diff's from the T2 used to set rear ride height etc...

Anyway to cut a long story short, Xray didn't see this vision and never produced one. Now it is probably too late, some of the big competitors have produced excellent cars which are revolutionising 1/12th racing. Weather it is the tape free battery installation of the Cyclone, the adjustable damper pod suspension on the 12RS or the pure design elegance of the DB12R, 1/12 resurgance has come a long way. There was a huge market waiting to be tapped, but Xray chose not to target it. I suspect it is too late now and any Xray offering would be evolution or refinement of what is currently available, not the revolution which has happend over the past year.

I agree, If Xray builds they will come 1/12 has a huge market in North America, almost as big as TC and with Associated and Serpent coming out with new cars I'm sure Xray would have no problem coming up with a revolutionary design (especially for the front suspension).

No word from any Xray guys. Guess it means they're too busy working on the car
