The 808s looked awesome.
JB had a little more time with his, but i think in RD3 Rocco got his dialed in and took TQ! Then JB snatched it back... but both 808s starting on the top of the grid in the main was impressive.

Alot of people seem concerned about the carbon fibre parts on the new 808. I do understand the initial concerns, but personally think these 4mm mounts will be just as strong as the trick anodised aluminum ones of the xb8 (plus quite a bit lighter). The main reason xray have incorporated carbon fibre is for weight saving/strength I believe. The xb8 is/was quite a bit heavier than a losi 8ight (debatably the current performance benchmark), hence I understand the need to shave excess baggage. Carbon Fibre is immensly strong, proven in all forms of motorracing, F1 + all forms of RC racing. Its great stuff! I've raced a lot of tricked out RC buggies with these mounts, and never broken a thing.
Just my 2 cents anyway (for what its worth).

First day out with the new buggy will tell I guess :lol:

The carbon fibre towers are very strong. I had a few really bad crashes and you can't even tell the towers hit the ground. Don't worry to much guys XRAY knows what they are doing and they are not going to put out a product that they are going to have to follow up on because of weak parts.
