Thats way better then my Werks with a JP3 then. I think safely I get like 7-8mins if I go easy on the throttle.

I get so anxious about wanting to go fast but you just cant poke around like that with a buggy or you will be belly up all the time. It really tests patience and takes some getting used to for sure.

So far my B7 pro cant be turned over by hand at 2.5 gallons so if it keeps on going that way I may just keep using that motor despite the fuel suckage. Its possible I need a better pipe but I am sure you have heard I tried the 2013 pipe from Werks and it lasted 2 days before being bent and cracked.

I am still getting used to my car and the tune so I need to take better averages of fuel times but while racing I play safe and come in at 7mins since its a 20min race. No point in going longer because no matter what you need 2 pits unless you can some how run longer then 10.5 mins to only have to pit once.

i ran the thundertiger pipe on my ops yesterday..wow is all can say!

the bottom end was about the same as my ops pipe but the midrange and top end was insane..this thing was almsost undriveable at mid throttle, thoroughly reccomended.

and my fuel mileage went up too,i had to lean the engine out quite a bit compared to the ops pipe so im happily getting 7 1/2 mins pitstops and that was on a VERY fast track yesterday where you were on the gas a lot.

I don't think theres anything wrong with his driving style, what he's doing is called throttling and it has it's uses and works.

As far as i understand it as your off throttle for a split second the car settles and grips turning in the intended direction. When it's bumpy it has a tendency to keep the back end down too.

I drive a buggy this way and it has not been the cause of putting me on my roof, also get 10 mins on a run minimum on most tracks. Our 'A' mains are only 20 mins but i only stop once, sometimes my mechanic leaves me out for 12 mins if theres no back markers in the way
so i get a clear run.

Maybe ex-electric drivers use the smooth method cos they're used to it but i think a born off-roader will throttle. I don't think you could say one is faster than the other though, just my observation i could be wrong.

I have an XB8R and XT8 and on the xb8 the shocks are a little old, and one or both of them have blown twice in a few months. On my XT8 it is brand new, and after 1 race day I already blew a rear shock. I can assure you I built the shocks quite well, so there is something that is failing and causing oil to leak out. I greased everything so I just wonder what it is.
