Hey, I have just bought and built the new T2 008, and i have the following problem.
All below happens when car is on the maintenance stand:

With front wheels mounted:
when running straight ahead no problems, but when turning the front wheels either to the left or right it starts to vibrate and making a ogly noice. ( nothing is touching the rims )

New rims, whithout tires mounted:
Same problem as above.

without front wheel mounted:
No problems:

anyone having a surgestion.

hy henrik!

this vibrations are normally when using spool (solid axle) and u turn left or right.
but its only, if the tyres arent on the ground.

if u drive with the car, there a no vibrations. and the function is without problems.

The problem are also present when the car is on the floor, and it realy sounds unhealthy. I have seen other 008's and they don't make these strange noises when they make turns.
I will not use the car until i have found the problem, because i'm sure something will brake.

Do you have full steering lock? If you don't limit the steering end point this can happen. I have seen a lot of poeple recommend between 16-20 degrees of steering to each side.

Kemax, if you have not adjusted your steering EPA then that is almost certainly the problem - good place to start anyway!

Also take the front axles apart, thoroughly clean them and relube prior to putting them back together. If you use locktite on the set screw make sure you use a minimal amount to prevent it running into the moving parts. If the axle couplings bind just a little the added weight of rims/wheels will cause major vibration.

Hi, Both on half and full throttle, but with most vibrations and noice on full throttle. It is not only on the maintenance stand the problem occurs, it's also on the floor.
I have tried to dismount the belt, and when i turn the front wheels by hand i hear a click sound from the driveline, is it normal ?

And again the car cannot be driven with this error because it looses the stability, and it makes a screeming noice when you makes turn.
