Hi

I drive on a carpet track (see pict)
When I use Soft rear and hard on the front the car understeer.
When I use Soft rear and medium front the car steers too much, get a little drift and traxtion roll.

Right now Im using Medium rear and hard front + LRP top grip for carpet and the car feels realy good.

But i whant to drive without top grip so I know I have the same grip all the time.
What tires should i have? Should I try medium/soft rear tires all way around or medium/hard front all way around?

Right now on my track I use 40 rears and 50 fronts. BOTH with CA on the outer wall. Traction compound all around.

Here is a older setup (need IE to see correctly):
xform/index.php?act=view&ID=70&setup=m18_pro

Your car wont necessarily feel the same without grip all the time. The temperature, moisture, and as the track gets a compound groove into it, will effect how the car handles as it picks up traction compound from the surface.

Even on tracks where there is no traction compound allowed, same principle as the most used areas where the rubber/foam is worn unto the surface will effect the car.

Ok.

When i got 50 front and 30 rear + traction compound 100% front and 50% rear i felt that the car owersteerd the first 5+ laps and then where good for a coupple of minutes. then got understeer and more compound was needed.

Now with 50front 40rear I dont feel that much of a diferent frome the traction compound (100% all around), its pretty much good all the time.

Still my goal is that i can drive with out tracion compound. But as it is now is OK. Just curius how you other drive :)

45 front, 35-40 rear, apply CA on the sides and the edge of the front tires, start with just side CA'ed, then add little by little CA towards the tread till you find what siuts you best
after 1-2 runs on carpet, you have to sand down the raised edge with CA and apply CA again in desired amount, athervise car will understeer more and more

nice track BTW

Is CA comparably with second adhesive or what is it. Which manufacturer?

And the rear tires? Photo?

Very thanks.

ca=second adhesive
I use HVP Gummi, sides remain elastic, not hard like some others CA do

rears are just like you bought them, nothing done with them
