XRAY - Model racing cars

Lots of top U.S. talent at that race. Should be interesting. Is Kinwald already running the new buggy or has he been running the EC? I wonder if anybody will have the 808 at that race?

The part I bolded is the whole problem with your position on this. Xray has been coming out with something new and improved every year (thankfully) and it is definitely within the 4 year time frame for something completely new. And I think it's rather selfish to say that the only reason a company shouldn't improve a product for its customers and potential customers is because you recently bought the current one. Or to insinuate that if a company is planning to release a new model of something that they should just stop selling for a few months out of the year so that nobody will have bought the current model in the 4 months preceding the new one. If that was the case, there would be no more Xray or any other company in the world. LOL.

Look, Xray let everyone know officially in January that they were working on a new buggy and even released prototype pictures of it. The new one won't be out until April and probably not in hobby shops until sometime after then. That's at least 3 months of of a heads up. You're acting as if they let everybody know about a new buggy today and everyone at your track will have an 808 next week.

Let me just give you a heads up before you go out and get the 808: There will likely be some small updates in 2009 and then there will likely be some significant improvements and/or geometry changes in 2010. Then in 2011 or 2012 look for a brand new design again that will ensure Xray remains competitive with all the other companies who aren't standing still. You have now been forewarned! lol.

But it changed within less than a year thats what you don't get, I didn't buy it last month I bought it three months after it came out. When the EC came out it had some significant changes from the TQ thats why everybody bought it not because it had new screws or new radio tray, it was the complete suspension, chassis was longer and shocks were big bore and some other items.

But don't worry about it anymore I pretty sure you can move on...I hope

Don't know if it has been answered but will the 808 come factory built or will it be in kit form??

personally, the last 2 cars i bought were built and it is so nice to just go out and race. (if they are built right)
