Sure it's now just an update for people who run stock ?

The 2nd update pack is to reduce belt wear. With the EU drivetrain there have been issues with belts stripping in 5 cell mod, epecially the rear. The idea is the bigger centre pulleys will put less strain on the belts and they will last much longer.

I thought this new internal ratio was specifically introduced for mod racing. If it's no good for stock racing, and not very good for mod racing, what's it good for?

Good to see Xray have addressed the internal ratio issue. We should be able to get higher roll outs now with 13.5 and 10.5 brushless motors.

Just one question

Why does the US spec 008 xray use a longer rear belt with the 34 / 20 pulleys when it does not seem like we need one on the EU ?

The US chassis is longer so you need also one longer belt.

Yes mirage's service is always bang on. Anyone know whatever happened to the Xray ofset spurs ?

Forgetting about wear and tear, pinion clearance etc. Which ratio gives the better performance? Presumably the 2.375 as this is what the designers and testers decided on? IE is it in my interests to convert to 1.7?
