XRAY - Model racing cars

my son and I did some racing around there a couple of years ago and want to maybe do some more. we went to the river one time, and few others. if we were to choose to go to a couple of races in the texas series what would be some good choices to come from Mississippi to race.

In my personal opinion, I would have to say Mikes hobby shop(Gulf coast raceway) in Porter Tx near Houston, N Control in Austin, Johnny Cool Guys in Dallas.... those are the ones I like the most but there are many many more here in Texas.

i have been to mikes before, but the offroad track was not built yet. looking for a decent drive, houston is not bad.

Mikes is a good track I wish it was open during the week for me to practice I am new and like when it's empty.

Southside in Pasedena is another good one to check out, east-southeast of Houston.

I haven't been to the River Track, yet, but I've heard it's an awesome track and it's in Brazoria, next to the San Bernard river.

You're looking at running the TX State Pro Series?
If so, I would HIGHLY recommend the San Antonio, Toys For Big Boys track, it's AWESOME!
Johnny Cool Guys is alright, layouts are lacking sometimes and talk about hard on equipment....
Mike's Hobby Shop is a great track, as you can count on a racing program that weather will not deter.
I'm looking forward to running at the N'CONTROL track this year, and the International Pro Series Finals in Alvarado, that track was AWESOME!

Which race there at N-Control?

Here's the current Texas schedule.........the N-CONTROL race is listed as the finals in October.....is that subject to change depending on the vote?

I won't try to do it as a day trip anymore but is a blast.
