XRAY - Model racing cars

I just fixed my suspension... no more G clips, threaded bodies, larger selection of springs, 16mm bores with 6 hole pistons, etc...

I usually keep it very clean.

This was before a 30 min main and a few hours of practice, I just cleaned it with a air hose before installing the shocks.


Anyone wanna guess what the weight penalty is??

What shock boots are good for the Stock XT8 shocks??

I used these while I was dealing with the stock shocks.

I still am not going to invest in those big bores just yet because its still up in the air if they are actually better then our 14mm shocks. Its hard to say because some people have theories as to why they are better but I dont know enough about all this to say either way.

I did feel them and they were amazing and felt better then my EC shocks but I am going to toss the felt pads and bleed them properly and see where that gets me.

I'll be honest if they were the Xray shocks out and fit properly I would have them in a second. I just fear trying to mod arms with a dremel to fit these because my setup would be far off from any body elses and I would be on my own for tunning advice.

2D, How did you form those rear lower arms like that? and what do the shocks look like from the side? Do they lean out at all?
