Recieved my EU 6 cell version today. Just got get it built for Tuesday racing at my local club.

Will there ever be a 5 cell foam chassi?

From January 1st 2008 we will be using 5 cell in 19t foam in Norway so if there is a posibility for a 5 cell foam chassi for the 008 I would trade my 007 foam for a 008 (5 cell) foam.

hi darren styles you said you can feel the difference by compressing them, does that mean the stiffer spring would be the 2.8. as you can tell i'm new to 1/10

Just started to build the 008. Nice kit. Two remarks:

* The setup/gearingchart, which is included in the documentation, is incorrect. The gearingside is that of a 'fuel' powered car, stating two gears. Xray should remedy this and send out the correct ones.
* The gearing on the EU version is suitable for modified racing, however for stock it will only work if spurgears are used in the range of 78 - 72 (or lower). Perhaps Xray can tell us more about this or advise us.

Again, nice kit, lets see how it runs.

Here are some pictures of the build.

I also think in regards to the gearchallenge (after a good night rest) in Stock to use the pulleys and belts of the US version. That will allow, i guess, the right gearing.
