Personally, I don't think Xray owes you anything. You buy a kit as is and that's it. If you insist on having composite diffs, wait 'til the second batch is released, simple as that. Besides, on page 3 of '008 manual (or any other Xray manual for that matter) you'll find this note:

This will be my first Xray and I look forward to driving it after all the good things I here!

I agree that yes they do say the the final specs can vary, but I think that it would be a cool move to provide all the racers who get the first batch with a set of the comp out drives free! It would be a great thing to do for xray customers and really show that they are deicated to providing not only the best kits but also the best service to their customers!

But no they don't have to provide them!!! but I do think many people would like to try them out and it would be good publicity!

Recieved my 008 today

and am in the process of building it. I must say I am very impressed with the quality so far! The front spool is super light yet looks super strong in the places it needs to be. I am very much looking forward to running the car tomorrow night or at the weekend.
