XRAY - Model racing cars

Hello all i am a racer from Australia and have always been an x-ray racer. The new car looks good and i am looking forward to getting my kit. There are some issue i have heard of from the new factory drivers in Australia that have me concerned though.

Is this true will the new diff outdrives be fragile ? I have seen this problem with the TC5 and i am worried. Any help appreciated,
the fact that the factory drivers here are concerned before we even see the kit is enough reason for me to ask the question.

How did you guys go at the Nats?

Wondering if you could help me with my next dilema.
I rang the Australian agent to enquire about an 008 kit but they said demand was very high and XRAY could not fill there full order and could only supply a small amount of what they wanted , i think he said only 20 kits were due in.

So i enquired about the Serpent S400 which they have stock of now and the guy i spoke with highly recommends the car.I could get it now and have it ready for the Summer Nats in January and not have to wait for more 008 kits to arrive, what do you think?

I found the below posted on an Australian forum by one of the staff at Custom Model Cars he is also happy with his Serpent.
