In my view their is no downside to this mod, it has not weakend the arms either. For slow tight corners it will help car hook around very tight on the apex & give you that bit more turn in to under take others when undr power.

Its not really a traction thing, it just gives more lock so you get a tighter turning circle.

Cutting those sections out of the arm does create more traction, but to what degree, I don't know. The increase in traction is what will make the car easier/more predictable to drive.

Bren was talking about dremeling the front arms for the steering throw mod, which will definitely increase your steering.

Since you bought the EC conversion set, this mod has already been done for you at the factory!

I agree. The soft arms are a major factor in the handling of my TQ. Disappointing.
