XRAY - Model racing cars

Well over the past few weeks I have been treating the XT8 abit

I am really chuffed with it now

I got some Alloy Xray Hubs for both Front and Rear

Replaced all the Hinge Pin Holders with the Alloy Xray ones with the Captured Pins

Fitted a One Piece Engine Mount



And replaced the Front and Rear Chassis Braces with the Xray Alloy ones too

Both GT85 & WD40 should not cause any damage but I do not spay these, as most modern servo's are sealed so keep the water out, recievers I normally put in a balloon if its wet. I do not normally spray under the body shell. If its wet or a risk of being heavy going I normally spray all over body shell, shockers wishbones links & visible bearings even underside of chassis, just before race to help stop it sticking. Car still comes of a mess but just think how bad it would of been, plus its easyer to clean.
If its dry my view is the oil acts like a magnet to the dust & you now have a grinding paste.

We put them on the rear to keep all the mud off of our running gear to stop the weight and the binding of all the joints with the mud on it.

You can just see mine on the rear of my old Hong Nor, they where running level with the upper arms on the rear. They was the cutoff's off of the body shell. The 90` part of the lexan waist, so that all the underside of the lower wish arm was covered as well.

wow...do you have any air filter secrets when running in that mess?? How do you stop the filter from sucking in water??

He must have an outwear prefilter is a little bag that goes over the Airfilter and prevents water and any other thing from coming in but still little a lot of air pass though..

How do you tell where your car is when it matches the dirt, lol?

No point in painting a body in that mess.

lucky for me I live in Florida and I do not have to deal with that mess. I would not run my RC in that mad but hey thats just me..
