Hey guys I was just wanting to know if anyone has tried putting this body on an XB8.Because the body has a good race inspired design to it.

Why don't you try the body that are made for Xray?

Well see I like the more agressive look.I will either get that one if it fits or this one http://www.majesticrc.com/products/inde ... roductId=3[url] this one is the one I really like I was just wanting some more options to look at for now or later.

I have been using the Jconcepts body and like it but may try that majestic one since its .60 lexan for the same price as the regular Jconcepts body. So far the JC bodies are great but I wonder if the .60 lexan would be even better.

What I have been doing is running the body then looking for cracks and using the dremel to sand them out. After 1-2 races it seems to settle and last quite a long time. I still have my first one at 1.5 gallons and looking great.

They look nearly the same anyhow so style is cool looking. The Majestic body has a cool double fin in the rear that I think is different.

I think it should fit just fine since both the JC bodies I have were for the XB8 and the MBX5 and they fit perfect. Only thing was the antenna dimple is off but doesnt matter much.

Yeah me too, going to give them a try and see how they compare. I know majestic was the body to have when I ran a Revo. They often talk about using better quality lexan and reinforce areas that are needed.

The Jconcepts have been good so far but they do develop small cracks that drive me nuts. I notice that if I dont hold the body close to the area I am using the dremel the vibration causes small cracks. I am sure this will happen with any body but I wont know until I try a different one.

Either way I think the Majestic style looks better and they claim to have more roof room for the filter so that may be a plus. Its a close fit with the JC body and the prefilter is slightly mashed when on.

I love the cool look the majestic has but what I liked on the JConcepts RC8 body was the indented scoop on top of the body because it looks like a good way to get good air flow to the engine.

JC has the same but like I said it also smashes the filter a bit. I think the Majestic body wont have this to allow for the room needed.

I mainly love the tail of it having that double hump in it. Also like I said they are know to produce the bodies with out sharp lines to prevent cracking and they are said to hold up very well.

I never worry about a bodies weight since our cars arent ligth to begin with so if .60 will last longer then I will take it.
