I really like 573 so far and you could even try 553 but I find that with these powerful .21 engines cook that CD oil fast when it is thin. The major changes should be lighter front and rear oil for turning and a rough track though.

I suppose when considering diffs most of us keep Jasons set up in the back of our mind as being the thickest you want to use at 755 then tune down from there. In other words 7k would be the thickest and 1k would be the thinnest for the buggy diffs based on what I have seen.

I would say 700 front and 600 rear. the track i run on is blown out also and I've tried all of these front/rear (900/800)(800/700)(600/600) and find that the 900/800 oil causes too much bounce while the stock 600 setup caused the truck to bottom out too often on flat landings but gave a smooth ride.

900/800 should greatly reduce the bouncing - it has a lot more pack then the lighter oils. Is this on a buggy or truggy? I ran losi 50 (about 750 xray) with 1.3mm 4 hole pistons in the truggy (grey mugen springs though)...the light blue xray springs would work as well...you are on the right track though..the rougher the track, the better the multi hole pistons work imo

Raced with the Mugen gray springs and they were much better then the dark blues I was using. Car was much easier to drive and handled very very well on the rough sections and I am using alum braces front and rear so I was happy with the change.
