try running the kan 650 cells. our stock class allows 6 cells. you will get rid of some weight and they have more punch than those gp1100 which I have tried. The 650 cells last a 10 min main too. My times are way faster, 1-2 sec a lap. I race @ Hobbytown and currently in first place in our point series. I also have the gear diff w/pin in rear [free spinning] and the gear diff w/screw up front slightly tightend. As for the motors, I run the orion stock with a heat sink motor mount and a fan to keep it cool. After a 10 min main, my motor was 86 degrees, the second place car was 192. I would suggest the orion stock I am running on the same motor since October and we race every weekend 3 5 min qualifiers and 1 10 min main. Last but not least, I don't know how stock you have to keep the cars, I would go with a novak spy esc or lrp quantium sport. Those esc's from xray are okay but go on the blink sometime, after a hit or a motor heating up. I hope this helps. My setups are @
