Hello

Right now, I am looking at Jason Branham's setup sheet for the XT8 at the Futaba Nitro Challenge. I am trying to change the settings to Jason's. Now there are couple questions that I like to clarify and anyone could help me on this please.

1) What is an Outboard toe-in? and how do you make it 0 degrees?

2) What does the setup sheet meant by wheelbase shim position front or rear? It has the front end of the truggy's wheelbase shim set at the rear position and the rear end of the truggy's wheelbase shim set at the front position. This is very confusing because first of all I don't think the front end is adjustable and second, it does not tell how much shim we put in.

3) Also if it is not mentioned by the setup sheet, then does it meant by everything is setup according to the instruction manual? For example, caster clips of the front and rear inner pivot pin for the lower suspension arm?

1. Outboard toe would be an adjustment you can make to the rear of the truck when you are running the aluminum rear hubs because they allow you to put different bushings in them to add more toe. I am not running the rear aluminum hubs so I am just using the inboard toe which is adjusted using the inner hinge pin blocks that have the different #'s on them to allow for more or less toe.

2. The wheel base position can be applyed to both the front or rear (arms) by adding the clips either behind or in front of the arms. So if the front is set at the rear position then I have the 2mm clip behind the front arm and I have a 3mm clip behind the rear arm moving the arms forward and shifting the chasis and weight twards the rear.

3. I'm not sure I am understanding this question.

I would greatly appreciate it if can you measure the length of your front and rear upper arm for me please? I like to get the same camber but don't have the tools to do it
