The way I see it is Xray are renown for build the BEST Racing Cars on the market.

They have allready conquered

a, Electric Touring with the T1/T2

b, Nitro Touring NT1

c, Nitro Off-road XB8/XB8TQ/XB8EC & the XT8

d, Mini's NT18/NT18T/M18/M18T/M18MT

The only markets left are (in no order)

1/8 On-road (the formula 1 of RC)

Electric Off-road 2 & 4wd

1/12 scale pan cars

Personally I beleive there's a lot more to be gained & achieved in 1/8 On-road or Electric Off-road as the markets are bigger & more prestigeous on the world scale

You don't need 11.1 volts. 2-cel LiPo would be sufficient to get a top speed of 120-130Kph (I already get up to 93 Kph now with 5 cel NiMH). Just need different gearing and possibly a changed design for the motor (there is a lot being tested in brushless land...).
