XRAY - Model racing cars

the reason those blades usually break is either if your outdrives are wearing and have opened up allowing for play in the driveshaft .

or you hit things hard or clip kerbs where the wheel for split moment locks puttin pressure on that very small plastic?

also from your local hobby shop are they sellin you the new drive blades or they still sellin you the older style ones from FK 05 ?

try either doing pin up extra tight or dob or threadlock

personally I feel having an option of a 5 cell and 6 cell chassis kit would be best. With lipos I can't see a point of making a kit (chassis) especially for them when they are only a club thing. If they were legal and at all the big meetings, then yes I feel they could make a chassis.
But until that happens then the other two options are the clearest. Xray will shift more cars with the 6 cell chassis.

Ithink that It would be a great idea if Xray could make just one chassis with different battery holders (one for 6, one for 5 and one for lipo). Thes battery holders could be something like another brand car.

It could work like a tray.

Of course they had to do that without risking the chassis to get tweaked.

But hey. think about it. This way you can shift the cells weight by small increments to the front or rear.

Of course that even with 5 cells, or Lipos, the weight would me lower, so you could shift the cells further away from the chassis center line. (as on the pic above)

well after seeing the new xray frm a little distance and then trying to get sneaky peak at ben cosgrove's one at the KO GP at weekend and it doesnt look that different ! , new spur gear design ! with belts onto either side and then different shock towers!!

but after seeing it perform it looks lovely !
