I'm trying to figure out what's the purpose of the tweak station and how does it help the NT1 with whatever it does.

It helps you to balance the whole car.

You can adjust the wheelpresure so all the wheels will give the same pressure and so the car will drive straight and the steering L/R is acting the same.

I use weight scales and can also set the anti roll bar straight with it which I belive is also possible with the Hudy tweak station

I wonder how often I would use it if I got the tweak station, sounds like something I could live without.

You can live without it but you will gain performance when use it frequently because it gives a more stable car.

This can also be seen with a tweakstation

You can also setup the anti rollbar. Just remove the dampers, place the chassis on the setup blocks and the suspension on the tweakpart. If the anti rollbar is out of balance you will see that.
