XRAY - Model racing cars

Has anyone tried it yet? Would it give the same effect for the truggy as the 38T gear in the front diff does for the XB8?

We tried. Problematic.
Problem is, that XT8 has 10T diff pinion. Which is a lot smaller in dia then 12T buggy.
So the diff gear has to be closer to centerline. And yep, XT8 spur gear sits deeper on diff case, so it closer to centerline.
We had to use buggy gear due to broken teeth on original. Got it working, shimmed diff from one side as much as possible, and shimmed pinion also to be closer.
Did one race with that, TQ and 1 (but it was first race with XT8, so no opinion).

Afterwards dicovered, that pinion was so close, that it touched diff case and had almost splitted it up. So basicaly, we need to wait for XRAY to make correct gear for XT8...
