It could be a 5 cell car

Our T1R was very competitive at club and region level. The T2 has been slower but has now caught up. I would suggest that is because much time was spent tuning the T1R setup and the same needs to be done with a new car even if from the same stable. Our expectation is that we will get improved times from the T2 as it is obviously a newer and hopefully better design. But all tracks are different so out of the box settings are extremely unlikely to be your best.

Oh and lap times no doubt will have suffered getting used to the change from a diff to a spool too.

If the 008 is a 5 cell chassis that would be a smart move from Xray because it would be one of the first in this area. I personally dont think we need a new six cell chassis yet but a if brushless/modified is moving 5 cell and europe then i think a pure 5 cell chassis is needed. Looking at the spyshots it definatly looks like a 5 cell as i cant see another battery spot at the front or at the back. But wel have to wait and see

i dont know what it is but the car goes through drive shafts, blades and pins very quick. weve tried many different things but to know luck. mainly on local outdoor track though which is not the best of surfaces. think i may have it sorted though. touch wood i havent had a pin pop out of driveshaft go in a while, just the blades which i know will go after a while. think it could just be me some times though catching the inside of the corners. apart from that the car is excellent. brought my driving on a long way
