Which of your two set ups you posted is more suited for a tight track.

Now there was a track that I went to that was VERY VERY tight, and normal amounts of traction. I found that moving the shocks to inside on the arm helped the car the track I was at. The only thing I would think of changing would be going back to 1000 in the rear if you have a lot of 180's.

Swaybars are the next thing I am working on after I feel that I found the best diff setup. I would rather run Xray springs and make them work then look elsewhere. This way we can have box stock cars performing right. Dark Blues in the front were not the ticket today, too aggessive entering and pushed exiting.

So far 5/7/3 has been the best everywhere. I ran the 5/5/5 yesterday on a muddy track and the car was very good until the main. In the main the track just got so slimey that my car quit rotating like the Mugen's, where as early that day I was out rotating them. I am going to play with 5/5/3 and some odd stuff that I want to try like 7/5/3 and other combinations that we just haven't really ever looked at. When I ran 5/5/5 on a different track (medium traction and dusty) the car gained a lot of steering, felt real close to 5/7/1 but handled bumps a lot better.

how does the steering compare w/ 5,7,3 to 5,5,5? i run 3,7,1 and need some more steering and i think im gonna try the 5,7,3? i have low speed but on power steering sucks. and i have blades set up -almost.
