XRAY - Model racing cars

I have been reading up on this and for the track I am at it seems to be a good idea to use the aluminum brace. Atleast this way I can have the option to change it out if needed but my track is mainly like a dirt bike track. There are several big air triples and doubles where I can hear peoples chassis slapping the dirt.

I think it matters most on where you run so for me it may be a good idea.

Does that sound about right for making the choice when to use them?

Also I read they keep the chassis in better alignment by keeping it straight and not slightly bent like the composite do. I read this on a thread and a guy installed the composite and it would tweak the chassis but he also thought maybe the brace was tweaked so who knows.

So then should I get aluminum braces over composite for the durability?

The aluminums are more durable.

The composites allow better handiling and are still very durable.

Try both and see which one works better for you.

I think I really want it to be most durable since I have never drove a buggy and plan on some good crashes.

I just cant find any items in stock for the rear brace. Any links you know of?

Trying Helotes but they hardly respond to emails and I have no idea whats in stock since they just list stuff they may not have. I hear great things about them but I am starting to give up on them. It shouldnt be so hard to give someone $800+ of my money.

Bmain is the best but they are low on stock on most everything. I did buy $600 from them and they shipped same day so it should be here early next week.

Well that was for the composite not aluminum but its ok. I went to a big race today to check around and behold a table of 4 Xray buggy and truggies so I was able to get a hands on look.

They said dont get aluminum that it makes for not such a nice ride on dirt tracks and since they are all out of stock then thats fine by me.

I am done waiting for Helotes so I am going ahead with my order at Amain. I tried to give them a chance but am tired of waiting around to had out my money.
