XRAY - Model racing cars

I'm not sure how big the track is because this will be my first season at this track since I just joined the team during onroad. I've heard a couple of people are running .28's but most are running .21's, mostly high end motors.

I'm was considering the RB C6-BB7T(heard it was super reliable) or OS V-SPEC (heard was a bad motor) until I saw the prices. Maybe I'll save up some more money and get one of the better motors. I don't want to be the slow guy on the track.

So whats up with the Vspec's?

All the guys at my track run them but I have also read about some issues the engine has from others on the net. I know the newer made ones have different bearings and what not in them but it scares me to spend $400 and find out the hard way.


I would like to know about this since I think OS Vspec is supposed to be a good motor but not sure why I hear these issues come up.

So what motor should I look at that will come in at $400 with pipe, header, and engine?

I'm thinking this might be the winner...

Ouch that price is up there.

I hear tons good things about it on the RB forum so what do you know about it?

If it will last longer then a Vspec that with a pipe will cost me $400 then its worth it but I would like to find out first.

I personally don't have any experience with it but on every message board and word of mouth conversation, it's talked about like it's the best thing since sliced bread.

I guess I'm going to have to give it a try...I don't like the price either to tell you the truth.

If I didn't run Max I would run RB or Werks, personally...

You'll love the RB C6! I'm on my 2nd gallon now and this thing is opening up like a rabid gorilla. Just raw brutal power! It might just be too much
