XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi !

Took my XT8 for it´s first run yesterday and I must say that i really like how it runs.

Although there is one thing that I would like to change. In and out of corners the rear seems to be getting to much power and the truck always oversteer. Sometimes I can controll it and sometimes I can´t.

I run 7k - 10k - 5k and everything else is standard. I´ve change both the toe in on the rear end from 3 to 2 degrees and changing the camber, both possitive and negative but that didn´t fix it. Same as before and I lost the stability on the straights.

Any tips to what I should try to change next ? Should I change the diff fluids ? Perhaps a lighter one in the rear or a thicker one in the center ??

I haven´t got the ISS kit yet but within a week I will have it mounted givin more possible setups.

I run 7-10-5 today with oversteering on-power exiting corners and in them making the car somewhat hard to control. Other then that I love how it drives.
Also the rear of the car seems somewhat nervous braking and entering corners.

Our track is dry, short, bumpy, slippery as hell and has sharp corners with few smaller jumps...


Which diff should I first alter to get rid of this problem?

* Center or rear ?

* Thicker or thinner oil ?


Come on guys, plz give me a simple answer

UPDATE: I now tried Jasons setup on my car with the only exception that I was running 7-7-3 instead of 10-20-7. This didn´t keep the rear planted anymore than the standard settings. Atleast not on out track.

Suggestions ??? Plz ?? If I run 10-20-7 wont that make the car more aggressive or will it perhaps help my loose rear end ??

The 3 in the rear will make the rear more unstable then if you put 5 or 7 in the rear.
