As far as the shock boots go, I prefer the original boots. They seem to do a better job preventing dirt from geting in. I also am using the foam disks from the EC. It does an excellent job blocking dirt in addition to the long shock boots.

i use kyosho shock boots , they hold up the best out of all the brands i have tried ...

Yup, I'm down with the long shock boots as well.

so you guys don't think the short boots work as well as the long ones? why? Will the kyosho ones be direct fit?

The XRay wheels are right in the middle of the two prolines, if you get standard offset you will have to dremel the inside of the wheels so they dont rub and your truck will be more narrow, if you run the 1/2 offset, the truck will be wider.

So now that brings us to a new question? When will we be seeing pre-mounted Xray tires and rims?

Alright, the wheel deal, in short.............

Most campanies (Jammin/ofna, pro line, losi, etc.) make the 1/2 offset wheels which will make our truck wider while there is the standard offset wheel (pro line, mugen) which will make our truck more narrow, but after running them, (Jason along with the testing at XRay (which is why they made them) would agree) the XRay wheels perform better on the truck.
