Has anyone tried the box stock setup yet?

Hi Guys,

I will receive my XT8 a few days, and I will run an important race on a GRASS TRACK, and have a lot of GRIP.

I have some questions:

1) The basic setup is a good start for this kind of track?? If not, please tell a suggest please, to build my XT8!

2) Which Tires I buy? GRP ( CUBIC or GRIP ), XRAY,PROLINE ( BOW TIE or CRIME FIGHTER )

3) Buy an engine .28 or .21?? Make a big difference in a race .28 engines? Which Engine is good? I have a RB WS7 III with 2045 pipe it's resolve??

* Andrew Smolnik ( CEN oficial driver ), participate on a race here in Brazil last Month and will participate in september the same race i will run too

He taked a nice laps with engine OPS .28. Anyway, he drive very well and the difference is big for another drivers on a truggy.

i ran mine this weekend and had no issues with it. i am SO glad that i waited for this truggy to come out. the e-clips were not an issue at all.

wondering if anyone knows where i could purchase part number 98 0264 pin 2.5x14? they are the pins that hold the CVD together. lost one just before my main yesterday and need to get some replacements. checked b-main and team helotes and do not see them listed on either of there sites.[/u]
