any advice on tyres for a balding grass track ..some of it has turned to really concrete type soil hard packed .......have tried crimefighters not enough grip, proline step ups excellent grip but go off after 20 mins and hobao angle spikes again go off after 20 mns . in the 30 min finals when the tyres go bald lol its not nice

its just the way the pic is took rocco lol the steppins where in m2 so i will try the dld ones ,and im waiting on the xtr bow tie coming cheeers guys

Finally yesterday as i said i ordered my new XB8EC buggy kit .I am very happy because i think i made the right choice .Tell me ,are you happy till now from your Xray Buggy ?What brakes easily?

Jimbo, Congrats on your choice, you will like the car very much. The car is very tough and as far as parts to keep as spares you should keep extra a-arms, turn buckles both front and rear, shock shafts and extra bushings for the hinge pins and arm holders. I'm sure others will chime in on some good spares to keep. Enjoy and if you have any questions then please let us know.

brake cam bushings are something that i find wears.. only thing i've had to replace in 2 seasons of racing on my TQ... apart from the front arms when the v1 bushes spun in the holes..but the EC has the v2 ones, so you dont need to worry about that.

Thank you all for your advise .Now,about the setup ,can i ask you sth?If i show you some pics of my track ,can you tell me what kind of setup can i use in my XB8? I am thinking at first to put the standard setup ,and see how it goes .then i will make changes .but i would like to have a second opinion and suggestion !
