Go with 7-5-5, I know it seems weird, as it did to me when Jason told me to try it, but I put it in my car and it had the most steering I've ever felt in the car.

Lower your ride height and stiffen the suspension for the bumps and ruts in corners, it's another thing that seems weird but it works very well.

rocco,
what do you mean by stiff the suspension? spring/damping or both?
right now the best steering i was able to get out of the car was with the white soft springs all around, and my friend was doing even better with kyosho green springs (softer).
about stiffening the damping i also think it will be better.

Both, springs and oil. Over here on our tracks, we like to run 700 cps in the front and 500 cps in the rear with 1.5 2 hole pistons... My car has the most steering it ever has with the setup that's on it right now (Pro Series Rnd. 2), it went through the bumps like they were nothing.

Hey Rocco,

Are you no longer using the 1.3x4 setup with the dark blues anymore. I was planning to go with 555 for the diffs, 1.3x4 for pistons, and the light blue springs as a new setup.

I previoulsy had 552 for the diffs, and 1.5x2 with 350 cps oil and found the car to be lazy around the track, sterring was plentiful, but I like more aggression out of my car.

Oh I am alos putting in the 48 tooth spur, but am thinking of trying the 38 tooth front gear, but not sure how my buggy will react.

Our track is is quite dusty but there is traction to be had, it is also quite smooth with few rutted sections.

6g72tt, We were running the 1.3x4(all the way around) this past weekend and I am impressed with how it feels. I was running 600 in the front and 500 in the rear. You will also like the 48 tooth spur but also try the overdrive gear. You will notice that it will help pull the car out of corners faster and harder but also since the front is pulling harder that the rear it helps keep the rear down on the ground and that is huge when going through rougher sections.

Hey guys,

Do you not find the car too sensitive with the stiff springs and thick shock oil, and is there any loss of traction? That is why i thinking of trying 500 in the front and 400 in the rear with the 1.3x4 pistons.

While i do love a aggressive reactive car, there is a difference between being aggressive and the car being skittish from being to stiff...

It handles very sharp, yes, but it is still very easy to drive as it actually responds to your inputs which makes it very predictable.
