Hey guys,

Has anyone had any confirmation on the release date?

The UK distributers are now saying the latest they're heard is the second week of May.

Should we start getting excited?!!

Has a bird or whispered to someone about the diffluids included in the kit?

Would be nice to know what to extend my present fluids with!

I am not very sure, if they were to get here by the middle of May, they would need to ship within the next week, which might happen. But chances are (as usual) they will ship toward late May...

Well my biggest problem is´nt the delay it´s the total lack of information and the fact that the did´nt even bother to anwer my questions is realy bad. I Mean they sholud have staff for just this kind of things...

What would be nice and helpful would be a real time update on how the makning of the XT8 is progressing. Nothing advanced but just somthing like. Now the tank mold is done and so on.. then it´s easier to follow the production and you know aproximatly how far away it is... And also you know whats in the box!

But still not answering mails is realy bad. A negative answer is better than nothing at all...

But lately it seems like they just in it for the sale not for good service!

well, i saw the xt8 today, didnt get to see it drive tough.
it was just a demo model.

i was pretty satisfied with what i saw.
i will def. consider to buy one to convert into brushless.
now that my man that does the custom work has found motor pinions that survive the steel spur. alot of option we have now.
now whats up with the weird offset on the wheels, it sure is not the same as proline, its 10mm or so instead off non-offset or 28mm offset.
we need wide hubs

I've seen an XT8 race on the track and I gotta say if you'e thinking of canceling because of the delays.... IT WILL BE YOUR LOSS!! The XT8 is god-like on the track. It's a "driver's" racer. It does, and goes, what and where you want it to. It was great watching the XT8 cut inside the Losis and Mugens. It was awesome to watch. Our boy Rick Endler qualified 3rd overall on his first race with the XT8 and an engine that was still being broken in! If that engine was running better he woulda done ALOT better in the Main. Over-rich flameouts cost him the race but his laptimes were still smokin!

Anyways, good things come to those who wait!

The XT8 is in finishing phase. In few days there will be official final release date available at XRAY's web site in the news section. Sorry guys it took so long, but in the last minute we have decided to include the 150cc fuel tank in the kit as requested by the customers, so we had to make extra moulds and for this the project had to be postponed a bit.
