Somehove I missed it but now I know about the rear rollcenter... A question there. When the rear is fixaded (sorry for bad English :) ) what does the move in the rear roll center actually do? And how does it do it? Just curious...

What should a 542 combo do for me? Easy driven with no surprice in and out of a corner? I especially want it to be on rail out of an corner rather than going in if i have to sacrifice something.... :)

sholud I leave the lower rear shock position? What does it do if I move i outwards?

Thanks for the help...

What is your first question? If you move it it alters the camber gain among other things...

I would reverse your diff setup if you want it stable on power. The most stable and easy to drive car I had was when I ran 357 in the diffs, it dove in the corner, and would accelerate straight out, very stable and easy to drive but doesnt like to be pushed very hard.

On the rear arm, it should act like its making the shock stiffer... But it's hard to make a 'blanket' statement, because you can also look at it as, decreasing the distance between hub and shock mounting position, this would decrease the lever arm on the shock position in relation to the hub, thus making it stiffer, but then again, you're decreasing the angle between the arm and the shock which would make it softer by decreasing the amount of force the spring is putting on the arm......... You could go on for a while...

Best thing to do is just go try it, if you like it and your lap times drop do it, because it will do something different on every setup.

+1 Jason.

I was just talking about that on another thread. A lower rear diff fluid allows the car to rotate better off power in the turn so you can coast through the turn and let the car do the work. But you could be loose if you try to get on the power too early. A higher rear diff fluid lets you "throttle steer" the car and helps if you like to get on the throttle earlier or like blipping the throttle through the turn. So it all depends on your driving style.
