Hi i have a new xb8EC...
someone can help me for the new set-up?

i heve read some different set-up about the oil diff.
With old my TQ i race with 5000(F) 7000(C) and 1000(R)...but i now i have read that with the new EC is advised to run with more high in the rear (like 10000 or more).

what is the best compromise with the new EC?
I have see the set-up of Yannick Aigoin and i like this (camber caster etc.etc.) but about oil diff!?!
thanks in advance to all for the help guys!

PS: the track is :track traction medium-high, track surface smooth
(medium)

SORRY! for my bad english! i'm Italian :D

SPIDYX, Heavier oil will make the car more aggressive for sure and that is what most of the team guys are playing with. If your track is a medium to high bite then I would run heavier oils like 7000 front, 7000 middle, 7000 rear. And when the track had a little less bite then I like 5,5,5. But the only way you will learn what you like best is to try different oil set-ups and see what feels best to you.

ok thanks for the help... i will try 7000f 7000c 10000r.

Even if......you use 1000r the buggy is more easy to drive when turn off the corner (my old set-up TQ)...but not is more aggressive. And instead with 10000r or + the car is more difficult to drive in exit of corner and you must dose the throttle for not U-TURN.

That's correct but I am turning faster times using this driving style.

So Jason what driving style are you using with the EC compared to the TQ? I have somewhat of an idea but I'd like to hear your thoughts if you don't mind.

SPIDYX, I know the 7,7 front and center works well but I have not tried 10000 in the rear but its worth a shot just to see how it would work. The most I have put in the rear is 7 and I did like it, just a little to aggressive on tracks that do not offer allot of traction. It makes the car a little to responsive and most of the time you waste too much time always trying to correct the car.

Dbarnes, The only race I have put on the car was at Silver State and that is a different driving experience all together. But it was so much better there than last year. My car was as fast as any car there I just broke stupid things that cost me. So far I think the car is a great improvement from the TQ and time will tell.

Ok Jason i will try 10 in the rear and i tell you how it works  ok?

Sorry but the measure of diff-oil is in WT or CPS... i have in italy both the oil (Xray oil are in WT and Mugen oil are in CPS..etc.etc..). I say you this because the measurement are different how u know!
