Fuel tank...leaking?

I've never had any trouble with the Xray tank. I gave my 1 1/2 year old tank to a CEN driver to use and it's still going strong.

No problems here. I did see one leaking on a original XB8, but this was after quite some time of use. the guy had tightened down the mounting posts to the point of crushing the o-ring dampners and causing a leak near the mounting lugs of the tank.

I saw one leak, the Oring wasn't fitting correctly, but thats the only one I've ever seen with problems.

I've also had only one fuel tank, obviously no leak if only one.

Funny thing, I fill it plumb full, then tip it upside down, just to see if I can get it to leak.

I'm sure one of my tanks is leaking, the other one i'm not sure about.
Looks like its leaking trough the filler cap opening.
Anyone from Xray has a comment please? I allready had a tank without the
clip on the lid from the factory.

If you are using a one piece pipe make sure that the gaskets on the pipe and motor are in good shape. Had this happen once before and was spitting excess fuel everywhere.

I usually check the leakage of my fuel tank by surmerging the tank to a bucket of water. I close the fuel outlet and blow the pressure inlet. If there is a leak then You will notice where is the leak.
