Wondering if everyone is using the battery "bumpers'? I just finished building my T2 an squeezing the battery pack in is tight. I saw a few photos without them. Just wondering. I may also have to rewire my GTX.

Did you file the battery slots as per the instructions?

I'm no expert, but I found I had to leave out the two middle ones to fit the packs (IB4200 and Elite4500 in 007 US). I could be doing something wrong.

I run a T2 and have no problems getting batteries in with the battery stops fitted. I'm also using the graphite battery brace.

There's nothing to say you have to run them, just that your batteries are less likely to fall out if you do.

Are your cells glued together at all? The glue might get in the way.

I'm thinking the big problem would be not filing the chassis enough (but not too much). The glue also would be a problem if it's "flattening" the pack. I know what I mean by that, does anybody else?

Chris is right. Your problem will be the battery bars between the middle two batteries are contacting the holders. Adjust the bars a bit higher and they will fit or take a small amount off the holders.

On my '007 I use the 4 outer ones and tape my batteries in. So far I haven't had any problems at all. But with the '007 having the lower top deck it make for a better battery fit. Very snug.
