Front and rear roll bars of the same size. Maybe even a bit stiffer front roll bar.

I had the same problem with my t2 before. I switched from 30 oil to 40 and the prob was solved. After that I tried adjusting the chassis and top deck flexibility to suit our track, these made the rear pretty much planted to the ground I can even go fast through corners without the rear sliding.
keep that T2 its a better overall car than the FK05, its just a matter of finding the right set-up.

nice info will have to try it .... it had crossed my mind some time ago but never got round to trying it.

i have to say the fk05 from the moment i put it on the track worked great for me... but the T2 just never got there..... must admit i would rather sort it and keep it.... how ever i am luck to have a freshly tarmaced drive way of around 80 feet long and love ripping up and down. I have to say the T2 on tarmac has been very drivable just can't find that elusive carpet setup.

when you changed to 40wt oil how many holes open it the xray shocks did you use. Or do you have a sample setup i could try and work it from there

I have had 2 FK'04's, 2 FK'05's and a T2 and now a '007. I loved my FK'05's , the same as you. But, when I had my T2 I experienced the same problem as you with the rear wanting to step out. I noticed that the T2 series cars have a narrower front track then the rear, which I believe they are roughly 188mm across, the rear is just about 190mm across. Those 2mm make for a car that has super quick steering which also is a factor for the rear wanting to step out puzzle. When I built my '007 I shimmed out the front arms to 190mm and my problem was solved. I still love the '05, but after setting the '007 up right as I built it. I have a new love. LOL!!! Hope this helps you out a bit.
