M18Pro - Wrong Size Countersinking = Broken Chassis

Sorry for any troubles, most of our experienced staff is now out of office at two largest RC events so as soon they will return they will inspect your comment as during long term testing we did not experience any issues or problem.

Thanks to Mini_Me for posting some pictures for me. (SEE ABOVE)

As you can see, the X-RAY M18 PRO kit is on the left and the conversion chassis X-RAY 381152 is on the right. I've used the same screws for this example and you can visually see the difference.

This is all that I know what to do for now.

Hi,
Now you can see on the photos (very hard to take) the bad effect of the too large countersinking on the chassis holes.

I think there is 3 possibles ways to correct this situation :
-The best : Chassis replacement with a right one to all customers who got the countersinking problem.
-The medium : Make special shims (conical shape) to allow the screws to fit right.
-The less : To change the screws.

I'm disappointed cause it's not the Xray quality, the countersinking is an automatic work with numeric machine, it just needs the right tool.
It seems some M18Pro kits doesn't have been checked...

I'm waiting like others (I've the chance I've not break my chassis yet) for Xray to solve this problem in the best way.

I have written the test for the german RC-Magazine AMT.

I have got the same problems like the in the post before.

Further I have got the Problem mentioned at the beginning, but at the M18T, the Carbon-Fiber Top-Decks split between the fiber-layers when using the Aluminium-Shock-Towers. This problem I had at three Top-Decks...

I also have the same top deck problem on my m18t. further more you can not buy the top deck seperatly. so now I´m using the standart plastick one. the top deck could easely be fixed by xray by not countersinking the mounting holes and mount the shock tower with flad headed screws.

It seams to me that the coustermers of 1/18 scale cars are not taken seriously by xray..

this can easely bee seen, for 6 month now we have not been able to get alu wheel aksels for the m18t, and several of racere at our club are now getting tired of waiting and have bought other brand cars.
