XRAY - Model racing cars

Hi all.
I run pillowball evo 2 rubber tires stock motor. medium lenght indoor carpet track. Motor is high tork 17000 rpm stock trans 93 spur what should I start with for pinion size?
Also setup sheets available seem to only apply to foam mod.
I need good advice on setup for stock,rubber med. to high traction.
The car is a dream. but it understeers in low speed exit hairpins and oversteers when I lift in high speed mid turn.
I now have 3% kickup front and back
5.5 5 castor
Standard shock positions dark blue front white back 30 wt all. 2 hole front ,open back
No sway bars
1.5 camber all around
toe .5 out front 2.5 in back
droop 6 all around.
battery 1 slot forward driverside
One way front, back loose.
32 dur front 20 dur. back. Helps it not hook.
Traction additive Half front all back
stock width
5.5 mm clearance all around

Car has allways oversteered no matter what change I have made
I am driving competive enough now I need to fix this.
Help me me keep beating HPI and TC4s

My son has had great success with his EvoII pivotball (not pillowball) and recommends the following:

Pinion - 21 if running the 1.77 ratio, if running kit 2.125 ratio, then 25
Put the front diff back in
go to 1 degree camber in front, try light blue springs (although he also runs dark blue)
0 toe on the front, 2 on the rear
front droop - decrease to 5mm
raise the shocks - outer on front tower, 2nd from outer on rear tower
batteries 3+3 back
drop front ride height to 5mm, keep back at 5mm

that's opretty much his setup, and he TQ and won yesterday with his stock, putting 2 laps on our current 19T champ....

what type of surface are you racing on?

Ozite with lots of rubber down

to correct your oversteer problem check tires, make sure your chassis isnt tweaked, make sure the whole car is free from binding up on any of the suspension mounts. Make sure the car is square from front to rear.

what tire combo are you running?
tire sauce?

For the factory kit run a final drive ratio of 6.6-7.0

I have been using a 64 pitch 124 spur with a 29, 30 pinion
I was told by LHS that Im in first gear so to speak What size spur should I use. They said 100 tooth but the motor wont reach now ??? Thats for TC3
How much smaller spur can I use? I dont want to buy and trial fit what size should I use? My final drive last race was 4.65 with a tourqe motor. rubber tires.
It seemed like it was topping out on the straight but when I raced they blew past me. Is it just the combination of spur size and pinion that made it seem like it was topping out? It seemed like it could not go faster
Associated site recomends 6.43 for TC3 does that hold true for Xray?
If so what combo can I use that fits the Xray.
I guess Im way off on this.

I run a 128 tooth spur gear. Bigger is the spur, lower is the motor
But I dont think you can go bigger than that.
